A beautiful EveryDay Tray featuring the traditional Japanese Pattern Bishamon Kikkou, the tortoise shell pattern. Patterns such as this have long been a part of the artistic culture of Japan for over 300 years and can be found in almost every form from wood block prints, to textiles. It is an honor to pay homage to such a rich cultural tradition. The pattern is inlaid in brass and the tray frame is made from highly figured New England Cherry.
