A most unique and whimsical Jewelry Box made from the finest figured cherry, inspired by lace boxes of England of the 15th century. This piece presents with a huge fantasy Cottage on the lid illustrated by Audrey Rouvin, (@audrey_rouvin on Instagram), an illustrator living in the countryside of France, which was hand engraved into the lid in pyrography. Behind it, swirling clouds are carved into the lid and accented with Copper Leaf gilding. Upon opening the lid, you will find a series of ring and earring storage compartments, organized into cobblestone like tiers and hand-thrown ceramic dishes for ring and earring storage by my friend Sharrel Meeker (@mudandyard on Instagram). Adding to the fun, this piece features no less than 3 secret compartments within it for all your precious treasures. It is made in the tradition of the finest furniture including the beautiful air-dried highly figured cherry wood, hand-cut dovetails, hand carving, hand-burned pyrography, solid custom copper/brass hardware, velvet floors, and a most classic shellac finish.
