Featuring one of the rarest and most brilliant timbers in the world, Hawaiian Koa, the watch box marries bold with beautiful. The lid begins to tell the story of idyllic times spent in Maui, Hawaii. A piece of brilliantly figured Koa forms a mountainscape with a brass setting sun with clouds made from Masur Birch in the distance. The box walls and dividers, also made from figured Koa, keep the interest level high as you open the box to reveal an inside lid sporting signature Copper Pig Plaid. The custom watch holders are milled directly from solid billets of black walnut and hand wrapped in black waxed leather cord. Brass hinges and splines at the corners complete the look, and don’t forget to check out the bottom panel, which features another stunning Koa bookmatch. Every single inch of this box was carefully planned and considered with only the best materials, the most classic construction techniques and the finest attention to detail. Finished in walnut oil and shellac.
