Beginning with the high contrasting oak exterior, the inner panel features an incredible piece of Quartersawn Red Oak, with visible rays tracing through the piece. Surround that by a mood dark red oak exterior with Elizabethan inspired hand carvings along the sides. The owner's initials tastefully added to the center carving, a timeless touch for a family heirloom. Upon opening the valet, we see several slots for sunglasses as well as a large central section for keys, wallet, etc. Immediately obvious on the inside of the lid is a skull, done in the most unbelievable hand-cut marquetry by world-class Marquetry artist Elena Simonova. Finished in the most classic and timeless choice, shellac.
