A one-of-a-kind gentleman’s watch box which epitomizes what it means to be “hand made”. Every design aspect of this box was carefully considered with deliberate attention to detail. The box itself is made from air dried New England Black Walnut (air drying ensures the brilliant natural colors remain in tact) grain wrapped around all 4 sides. The lid features a hand-burned pyrographic image of the tree of life in the center of a brass inlaid circle, a subtle reference to the passing of time. Brass splines decorate the box sides. The interior liner and dividers feature beautiful figured Claro walnut from the Pacific region of the united states and organize custom made watch holders milled from solid Black Walnut wrapped in waxed black leather cord. The holders were carefully designed so that the watch bands are elevated from the box bottom and therefore sit neatly in place without wobbling. My signature wood plaid decorates the inner lid and segments of the box floor. Finished in classic platina blone shellac and beeswax. This heirloom box is designed in the tradition of fine furniture and will remain in your family for centuries.
