Challenge: Create a sushi board that is inspired by Architecture. Dmitriy Kuznietsov is a designer/architect from Ukraine with a presence on Insagram (@kuznietsov_dmitriy). He designs brilliant organic forms within the architecture field and became an inspiration for this piece (see the last 2 pictures for his original renderings). This sushi board combines the concept of “tiers” with beautifully flowing organic shapes hailing directly from the architecture lexicon. The surface features the most amazing Macassar Ebony veneers with inlaid brass stringing drawing the eye to movement. This piece comes with a hand built ceramic soy dish from Aron Fischer with gold luster rim (@facturegoods on Instagram; www.facturegoods.com) and matching chopsticks made of solid bloodwood and ebony with brass inlay. This is a statement piece for your sushi dinners, without question. Finished in food safe shellac, approximate dimensions 27”L x 10”L x 2”H.
