So, you’re probably wondering about the name. I admit, it is rather alarming however it has the most amusing of origins. I had this amazing live-edge walnut burl in my shop and I decided to take a huge piece of it and turn it into a serving board. Only to realize that when I applied oil, it became MUCH darker and now looked disgusting like a giant Bear Turd. I hated it and couldn’t live with it. So I sawed it up and reimagined it into this BEAUTIFUL serving board (hence the name Bear Turd v2.0) which I love.

This board features a lovely piece of quartersawn Red Oak with inlaid Walnut burl and aluminum. Three silver dots at the top add an asymmetrical element. The legs are a combination of an ebonized Cherry puck in the back with integrated arched legs in the front giving it a fast “racer” like look. It looks almost like a sort of art deco space age dragster, and is personally one of my favorite pieces to date. Approximate dimensions 22”L x 6”W x 2”H
